Rip City Reuse

We're not just reducing waste, we're leading a movement. In 2023, the Portland Trail Blazers became the first professional sports team in North America to launch a year-round, arena-wide reuse program for all publicly ticketed events.

Through Rip City Reuse, fans return reusable cups after each event, keeping thousands of single-use cups out of landfills. By partnering with local company Bold Reuse, we ensure cups are professionally washed, kept in circulation, and support local jobs and community resilience.

Our program has sparked a movement across the industry, inspiring other teams and venues to adopt reuse.
